A new NSS chapter is forming in the San Fernando Valley. Below is the
announcement sent to OASIS:
Announcement of an upcoming meeting, Saturday, February 18, 2006 in
the OAR Room at Canoga Park High School. The School is at the corner
of Vanowen and Topanga Canyon Blvd. You can park in the shopping
mall on the south side of Vanown behind the 76 gas station and walk
across Vanowen at the stop light.

PRESS RELEASE
Col. Robert Newberry of the US Air Force Space Command will be speaking
about the general programs of the Space Command and the Air Force
launch vehicles
program. This is an open meeting and everyone is invited. The meeting will be
held Saturday morning, 9:30 am, February 18, 2006 at Canoga Park High School.
The meeting is being sponsored by the National Space Society San
Fernando Valley Chapter, the Canoga Park High School and the US Air
Force Academy Admission Liaison Officer Program.
