[oasis-announce] Meeting Announcement and Reminder

This Saturday, July 15, OASIS will be having its annual summer 
potluck picnic. The picnic starts at 1:00 PM, but we will be there 
starting at 11:00 AM for the business meeting.

The location is Pollywog Park in Manhattan Beach, at 1601 Manhattan 
Beach Blvd. (The address published in the Odyssey Space Calendar 
section  was incorrect; it gave the address of the Manhatten Beach 
city hall. The flyer inserted into the Odyssey has the correct 
address.) The park is on the corner of Manhattan Beach Blvd. and 
Redondo Ave., about 1/4 mile west of Aviation Blvd.

Bring what you can, either soft drinks, side or main dishes. (The 
assortment is a bit random, but that's what a potluck is!) We will 
NOT be lighting any fires or BBQs.

Our resident rocket scientist is planning to bring liquid nitrogen 
and make ice cream. See

With the extended weather forecast calling for high temperatures this 
weekend, this could be a way to stay cool and have some fun with 
people who share your vision of space exploration and development.
