[oasis-announce] Yuri's Night LA 2008

This coming Saturday, April 12, there will be a celebration of the  
first human in space. The occasion is marked each year with a party  
hosted by Yuri's Night. The Los Angeles organizing committee arranged  
for a reception followed by a party at Cinespace Hollywood, 6356  
Hollywood Blvd. (corner of Ivar + Hollywood, one block west of  
Hollywood/Vine Red Metro Station).

The event has two parts. At 6 PM, Yuri's Night LA is hosting a  
reception with presentations by notable space scientists, executives,  
and space artists:
  - Robert Hurt, Caltech Spitzer Telescope project
  - Dan Goods, JPL Visual Strategist/Space Artist
  -  Erik Bailey, JPL Phoenix Mars Lander project
  -  Art Rosales, Boeing Commercial Satellites
  -  Stan Kent, Boeing Commercial Satellites

At 9 PM, there will be a party.
