I thought people in the OASIS group might be interested in this event, put on
by the Center for Inquiry, a group which was near and dear to Steve Allen, an
inquiring mind if there ever was one.

M G Lord is the daughter of a rocket scientist, a cartoonist and a free lance
writer. Her latest book, "Astro Turf: The Private Life of Rocket Science",
explores what it's like to work on a long engineering/science space project.
She interviewed a lot of engineers and scientists at JPL, in the Galileo and
Mars Pathfinder projects, about the toll and rewards of such work. She has
attended a number of OASIS functions over the years, so some members may remember
her.
