<>Speaker: Randy Brinkley <>President - Rocketplane Kistler Inc.

Come spend the evening with AIAA as we have the honor to host Randy
Brinkley as he talks about his company Rocketplane Kistler (RpK) and
their future direction in aerospace.

In March of 2006 the two formerly independent companies of
Rocketplane and Kistler announced that they would join forces as a
new space transportation team to offer unique commercial space launch
services, and to provide a positive contribution to NASA's Vision for
Space Exploration. Moving forward to August of 2006 the team of
Rocketplane Kistler was one of the two winners for NASA's Commercial
Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) contract, where they will
demonstrate capability to service the International Space Station
(ISS) by means of RpK's K-1 launch vehicle. Mr. Brinkley will talk
about this new transportation team, and how they will move forward
with the COTS contract.

Mr. Brinkley joined Kistler Aerospace as Chief Executive Officer in
August 2004. Since joining Kistler, Mr. Brinkley has guided the
company through a reorganization and the subsequent merger with
Rocketplane Limited Inc. to form the new commercial space
transportation company. Now as President of Rocketplane Kistler Inc.
(RpK), Mr. Brinkley is responsible for the integration and
consolidation of the RpK business entities and the development of a
fleet of orbital space transportation vehicles capable of providing
highly reliable and cost effective commercial cargo and passenger
transportation to space.
Mr. Brinkley was formerly President of Boeing Satellite Systems Inc.
(BSS), and was Senior Vice President of Programs for Hughes Space and
Communications Company. Mr. Brinkley was the NASA Program Manager for
the International Space Station (ISS) (1994-99) and managed the
integration of Russia's participation in the ISS Program and the
successful on-orbit assembly of the first elements of the ISS, and
was the Mission Director for the Hubble Repair Mission in 1994. Prior
to that he managed advanced R&D activities for McDonnell Douglas.
Mr. Brinkley proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 25 years
(Ret. Colonel) and had seen combat during his service. He was in the
U.S. Air Force pilot training program, was the Navy's Flight
Instructor of the Year as well as the Marine Corps' Aviator of the
Year, and has flown more than 4,000 hours in 42 types of aircraft.
Mr. Brinkley has degrees from the University of North Carolina and
Boston University. He has also studied at the Naval War College
(Chief of Naval Operations Fellow) graduated from the Navy Fighter
Weapons School (TOPGUN), Amphibious Warfare School, NATO Defense
College, and the Marine Corps Engineers School.
Mr. Brinkley has received numerous national and international awards
and honors which are too lengthy to mention here for his outstanding
achievements and contributions to Aerospace.
