Just got word of the passing of human-powered flight pioneer Paul
MacCready. He seems to have been out of the spotlight these last few
years, especially with all the press about private spaceflight. Maybe
we'll have both someday -- human-powered flight on other worlds (as in
Heinlein's "The Menace from Earth").
