Thanks, Craig. I went out and looked from where I work in El Segundo,
but fog rolled in from the ocean just minutes before the launch, so I
didn't see anything. Almost like something out of Steven King. Did
anybody see it?

Subject: [oasis-members] Possible Vandenberg Launch
There's a launch scheduled from Vandenberg AFB tonight at 18:31.
A Delta II rocket is expected to loft the Italian COSMO-2 Earth imaging
satellite. The launch window's only one second long, so there won't be
any standing around for a half hour waiting for a possible launch. As
long as the weather stays clear, the launch should be visible from San
Francisco to San Diego.
