Thanks, guys! I sorta thought that SLC-6 did that, but couldn't remember off 
the top of my head...

So is Florida just figuring the buildings would be gone in the first 
hurricane, do you figure? And how expensive would it have been to have a semi-subgrade 
pad to launch from?

I keep thinking of that lunar pad, which sinks below the crater in "2001"... 
yeah, yeah, I know! ;-)
