[oasis-members] Volunteer Needed

[OASIS]

We need someone to help with a short term project related to our
publicity network.

OASIS sends announcements by fax to area media and other interested
parties. For the
event last weekend, we found that a large percentage of our fax
numbers came up bad.

We need someone to research the press release contact information for the local
newspaper, radio, and television stations. The information would
include a fax number
or, if the organization preferred, an email address. A local public
library should have a
reference work with this information.

As a bonus, it would also be good to include special contact
information for other
organizations, such as area community colleges, universities, and
public schools. Some
events might be of particular interest to them and we'd like to be
able to get the word
out.
