Dear OASIS-LA National Space Society Chapter Members, and all who are
interested,

I want to give you a heads-up on two upcoming events:

This Saturday and Sunday, one of our sister organizations, the Aerospace
Legacy Foundation (ALF) will have a display table at the Wings of Freedom
Air Show at Zamperini  Field (Torrance Airport). The leaders of ALF have
offered to share the table with OASIS if we supply a volunteer. I will not
be able to attend, due to a family matter, but if you can, please let me
know, and cc your reply to Matthew Monahan at cosmicplanes at gmail.com.

On Saturday, May 18 at 12:00 noon, ALF will have its Board meeting, with a
panel of engineers tentatively scheduled for 1:30. We are considering
combining the OASIS Board meeting with that of ALF, so please save the
date. The location is the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey. Among
the items to be discussed by OASIS are cooperation with ALF and the
American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Los Angeles - Las Vegas
Section (AIAA-LA-LV). Stay tuned for a confirmation or update of this.
